Team AJ - lexan honeycomb and ribbed type rear buggy wings - 6.75inch - 2 pcs (1.0mm thickness)
The first new release of ambitious new products that incorporates feedback from TEAM AJ's own team drivers!
The long-awaited 1/10 EP buggy wing [6.75 inch] is finally here
Its biggest feature is that it is neither 6.5 inch nor 7 inch... It uses a 6.75 inch width, which is in between, and is effective on various track conditions.
The wing is the second most important setup part on any car after tires and body aero is crucial to a good buggy setup!
Incorporating the opinions and feedback of numerous team members, we decided a standard rib type and a honeycomb type wing, which is its biggest feature, were the two designs we adopted.
The honeycomb type is adopted for the purpose of increasing the rigidity of the wing and regulating the air flow.
By increasing the rigidity of the wing, the amount of rear roll changes, making it possible to control the rear grip.
The streamlining effect can be felt especially at high speeds.
A cross mark is used as a guide for installing the wing.
The midpoint of the cross is intended to be the mounting position for the Associated B7.
The front and rear position of the wing is an important setup point that greatly changes the characteristics of your buggy
The cross mark can be used as a guide for buggies from various manufacturers, allowing installation in the exact position each time.
The polycarbonate itself is made in Japan. It is made of a material that is difficult to break and has a very high durability, and the strength of the 1.0mm thickness we use is equivalent to that of a normal 1.2mm thickness wing. The 0.8mm thickness also uses a strong material. After
testing wings of various thicknesses, we settled two types of thicknesses, 1.0mm and 0.8mm as the optimum.
The 1.0mm thickness is not only excellent in durability it also contributes to ensuring more rear grip.
The 0.8mm thickness emphasizes turning ability more than the 1.0mm thickness, and has an all-mighty characteristic that can be used on many circuits. The
1.0mm thickness also has considerable performance, and has obtained quite good test results even on high-grip carpet roads.
This is a 1/10 EP buggy wing that was tested by all TEAM AJ team drivers!
